Prior to starting at the University, I worked at a North West ICT Solution Provider developing my role from Technical Sales Advisor to UK Business Manager.

At InfoLab21 my role is to look at fostering relationships with businesses across the region; this includes SMEs and Multinationals. I am keen to utilise InfoLab21 as a platform for Knowledge and Technology Transfer between the University and the wider business community drawing on the expertise that is based within the School of Computing and Communications. Prior to InfoLab21 I worked in a technology focussed solution provider as the sales manager.

My role at InfoLab21 is to support the Business Development Team in creating relationships between InfoLab21 academics and Small to Medium Enterprises in the North West, facilitating collaboration and knowledge transfer.
I have worked in the Higher Education sector for the last 7 years and prior to joining InfoLab21 was based at Lancaster University Management School managing a range of undergraduate placement degree programmes. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2003 and am currently studying towards an MBA.

In my role at InfoLab21 I support the Technology Transfer Manager and Business Development Team in specifying and co-ordinating the delivery of ICT support to Small and Medium Enterprises throughout the North West, and in identifying research that is suitable for commercialisation.
I studied for a BSc (Hons) in Marketing at Lancaster University in 2007. Since graduation I have worked in both a commercial and higher education setting, developing skills Web Service delivery, Digital Marketing and Business Consultation.

I manage InfoLab21's digital marketing through the website, newsletters and 'new media' such as twitter. As editor of InfoTextX I write press releases and articles promoting InfoLab21's Knowledge Transfer activities and the achievements of our resident/associate companies and academics. My role includes graphic design, web development and the production of digital or printed promotions. I have worked at InfoLab21 for the last 4 years. My degree is in Social Ethics, from Lancaster University, and I also have an NCTJ Post Graduate Diploma in Online Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire.

My role involves organising a wide range of events on behalf of the Knowledge Business Centre spreading across the Northwest. I also coordinate ISTEP, an ERDF project targeting an increase in collaboration between regional SMEs and InfoLab21’s academics. I graduated from Lancaster University in 2007 with a Marketing degree and moved onto working with Northwest SMEs and coordinating other ERDF and NWDA funded projects.
