Units range in size from 10 to 90 square metres enabling businesses to co-locate alongside Lancaster University's internationally prominent knowledge base and work in partnership with Lancaster-based technologists to develop new products and processes.

InfoLab21 has built a flexible, mixed portfolio of working scenarios, for example, companies can be entirely based in InfoLab21, base their Research and Development in the building and some even work 'virtually' with InfoLab21 from their offices off campus.
